(Mrs. Baer going over Lab Policies with 4th graders.) (1st graders experimenting with things that bubble!)
To my dear young scientists,
I hope your summer was full of fun and excitement, I know mine was! Mr. Baer and I were married in June and have spent the summer setting up our home and getting to know the ducks behind our apartment. These aren’t the only changes that happened over summer.
It is only a few short days until we can get back into lab, and back to exploring God’s amazing creation! I am excited to announce that this year’s young scientists in kindergarten through sixth grade will be working in the laboratory every day of the week. With this new schedule we will be able spend more time learning how to make and record observations. There are several long-term experiments lined up for each grade level involving plants and animals this year, including making our own miniature eco-systems!
May God keep you all safe, healthy, and happy as you finish up your summer. I will see you in the lab!
In Christ,
Mrs. Baer
This year students will be coming to the laboratory on a daily basis. In order to provide the highest quality experiences for the students there is a mandatory laboratory fee this year. The fee is $25 and it can be paid in one of two ways.
Option 1: Pay full $25 during the first week of school
Option 2: Pay $5 during the first week of school, $10 during the first week of the second quarter, and $10 during the first week of the third quarter.
Thank you for your help to make this year’s science program the very best it can be!
