News pertaining to Faculty who serve in Excellence with a heart of Thankfulness.
August 2010 - Minerva Wiggins
Mrs. Wiggins began her career in education in 1966, after graduating from Edward Waters College. After serving in Duval County for 35 years she retired. During that time she also continued her education at Florida Memorial College, St. Joseph College, and was awarded her Master's Degree at FAMU. Her love for education brought her back to teaching in as a substitute between 2001 and 2006, then in 2007 Mrs. Wiggins officially came out of retirement at CCS. What a blessing that was for us! Mrs. Wiggins has not only brought her professionalism, fairness, and years of experience; but she has also adorned Cornerstone with her kindness and passion for children to receive a solid education. As she instills in the students - Knowledge is Power!
