Cornerstone Christian School of Jacksonville, founded in 2002, is a co-educational, college preparatory Christian school seeking to develop the best academic and social growth for each of its students – equipping them to be competitive in a global word. Class Rank: As a matter of policy, CCS does not provide a class rank for student academic credentials.
Graduation Requirements: Year long courses count as one (1.00) credit; semester courses count as one – half (.5) credit. Students must pass two-semester courses to obtain one (1.00) credit. To graduate, a student must receive 24 credits 9th -12th grades, including 1 year of physical education; 1 year of Foreign Language and 1 year of Bible for each year of attendance at CCS. Students who take Algebra I in grade 8 must test out in grade 9 to receive high school credit towards graduation. Two sequential years of Foreign Language requirement must be taken sometime though out grades 9-12.

Mathematics: 3 course ( Algebra I and Higher)
Foreign Language: 2 sequential years and 1 for each of attendance.
Physical Educations: 1 year for each year of attendance.
Community Service Components: Cornerstone students are required to complete fifty plus hours of approved volunteer services.
Course Load: All students are required to take a minimum load of seven courses each semester. Students may elect to take more than the minimum load. (Subject to approval) Major courses are defined as college-preparatory courses in the major disciplines, which make an intellectual demand on the student and require outside preparation. Students are measured by quizzes, examinations, and outside studies – homework & research play an important role in the determination of the grade.
